Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- England began Euro 2024 with a victory over Serbia with a minimal score of 1:0.

The only goal of the match was scored by midfielder Jude Bellingham in the 13th minute. Bellingham headed the ball to the  net after a pass from striker Bukayo Saka.

Along with Serbia and England, Group C also includes the national teams of Slovenia and Denmark. Earlier, Slovenia and Denmark played a 1:1 draw.

Euro 2024 takes place in Germany from 14 June to 14 July. The first and second place teams in the group stage, as well as the top four third place teams, will advance to the round of 16.
