Euro-2012: Spain and Italy advance to play offs

Spain and Italy qualified to the quarterfinals of Euro-2012 after both of them defeated Croatia and Ireland respectively in their last group match.
Spain clinched a 1-0 victory over Croatia in Gdansk to top Group C. Jesus Navas scored the only goal of the match on 88 minutes.
Spain collected seven points and topped the Group C.
In the second match, Italy scored twice to hand third defeat to the Republic of Ireland and booked the second place in Group C.
Cassano headed home from an Andrea Pirlo corner on 35 minutes, before Balotelli volleyed a brilliant second on 90 minutes.
