Germany claimed a 2-1 victory over Denmark to ensure three wins from three matches.

Lukas Podolski scored his first goal in Euro-2012 on 19 minutes, but Michael Krohn-Dehli headed the equalizer five minutes later. Right-back Lars Bender's first international goal won the game for Joachim Loew's side.

In the second match of the Group A, Portugal clinched a 2-1 win over the Netherlands to advance from the second place.

Rafael van der Vaart opened the scoring with a superb goal on 11 minutes, but Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice on 20 and 74 minutes to hand third defeat to the Netherland.

In quarterfinals, Germany will play against Greece, while Portugal will face the Czech Republic.
