EurAsEC members to create single insurance market

Heads of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) member states are planning to sign a protocol on creation of the single insurance market by spring 2008.

The Executive committee of the organization currently holds the draft of the protocol and it determines rules of work of insurance market and the conditions to enter to the market.

EurAsEC unites Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Armenia, Moldavia and Ukraine have observer status.
