As many as 1,500 people had the opportunity to enjoy a barnstorming performance by Eros Ramazzotti, who always sings live, at Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums, a dazzling edifice in the heart of Tashkent. For almost two hours, the singer energized the Tashkent public, making the concert one of the most memorable highlights in the string of events organized as part of this year’s Style.Uz Art Week.
His Tashkent repertoire included famous hits as well as new songs from his latest album. After each song he thanked the public using the Russian word Spasibo, drawing enormous applause. His range of voice drew raptures from the audience, especially at moments when it switched to ‘opera mode’ and copied cartoon characters. Overflowing with energy, the musician lent zing to his performance, speaking Italian, English, Russian and Uzbek in-between songs, dancing along with the audience and kissing ladies’ hands.
The concert reached a crescendo when the star started performing his world-famous hit Cose della vita, drawing a wave of applause from the delighted audience along with shouts from young people who had been given free tickets by Style.Uz Art Week organizers as part of the program to support young talents.
In conclusion, a sizable cake was rolled onto the stage while the audience was lavishing a standing ovation on the pop star, showing their love and acknowledgment.
The concert turned out a fantastic night for everyone who decided to become part of the charitable program of “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association, thereby making a contribution to the fight against this disease.
