Ernst & Young receives license to carry out valuation activity in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Committee of Uzbekistan on management of state property (State Property Committee) adopted decision on issuing license to Ernst & Young to carry out valuation activity in the country.

Acting chairperson of the State Property Committee Aziz Abdukhakimov, speaking at the press-conference in Tashkent, said that efforts of Uzbekistan on reforming valuation activity helped to ensure reliable protection of property rights of citizens of Uzbekistan and their fair valuation. He said that this attracted interest of international organizations.

Aziz Abdukhakimov said that famous companies such as Ernst & Young, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte & Touche are expressing interest in cooperation in the market of Uzbekistan.

Abdukhakimov underlined that Ernst & Young became the first company from Big Four, which opened subsidiary on valuation in Uzbekistan - Ernst & Young Valuation LLC – and submitted application to receive license to carry out valuation activity in Uzbekistan.

He said that after considering received documents, the State Property Committee adopted decision to issue license to Ernst & Young Valuation LLC to carry out valuation activity.

In his turn, Ernst & Young Valuation representative said that the company carefully followed reforms of valuation market and made conclusion that currently legislation in this sector harmonized with international standards, which creates foundation for work of respectable international companies in the market of Uzbekistan.

He expressed his gratitude to the State Property Committee for trust and said that Ernst & Young Valuation will make its best for further development of valuation market in Uzbekistan.
