Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Erkin Mukhitdinov has been appointed as the head of the Department of Forestry Policy, Biodiversity, and Ecotourism within the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.
The appointment was formalized through an order signed by the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.
Born in 1976 in Andijan region, Mukhitdinov graduated from the Andijan Institute of Economics in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree. He earned a master’s degree from the Academy of Banking and Finance in 2000 and completed advanced studies at the Graduate School of the Institute of Developing Economies in Japan in 2007.
His professional career includes roles at the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity, Turonbank, the Central Bank, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, and the Akhangaran district khokimiyat.
Mukhitdinov holds a PhD in Economics and has been recognized with the "Dostlik" (Friendship) Order for his achievements.
