Technologies 15/01/2009 Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracts two international exchanges in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The leading Croatian ICT exporter, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, has signed a contract with the end user TShTT (Tashkent Telephone Network), a branch office of the Uzbekistan’s wireline operator Uzbektelecom, on a delivery of a modern wireline telecom equipment, solution and services. The job is valued at around 12 million Croatian Kruna or around US$2.15 million.

More precisely, the contract stipulates a delivery of two international telephone exchanges in the most recent Enabler revision to Uzbekistan, a Central Asian country rich in gas reserves. The exchanges will be located in Tashkent and they will support all main country’s communications with the world and the transition traffic in Uzbekistan.
