EPAM Systems is an American IT company founded in 1993, the world’s largest producer of custom software, a consulting specialist, resident of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park.

The head of EPAM Systems arrived in Uzbekistan to get acquainted with the potential of the country’s IT industry.

Arkadiy Dobkin visited IUT, accompanied by the founder of the Hi-Tech Park (Belarus), Valery Tsepkalo.

The First vice-rector of Inha University in Tashkent Professor Woosug Cho greeted the guests and briefed them about the activities of the university on training specialists in the field of information technology.

The delegation also got acquainted with facilities of Inha University in Tashkent and conditions, created for students and teachers.

Arkadiy Dobkin received information about the activities of the Innovation center to support of development and implementation of information technologies “Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center” founded by Inha University in Tashkent.

It was noted that the Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center was established to develop the information technology market in Uzbekistan. It was stressed that for the support of IT companies, the leadership of Uzbekistan provided an unprecedented benefits and preferences for the residents of the Innovation Center.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of establishing cooperation in perspective areas of cooperation.
