Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government adopted a resolution “On measures to ensure the use of online cash registers and virtual cash desk systems”.

According to the resolution, entrepreneurs with cash receipts, upon receipt of cash from the population, on the date specified in the schedule approved by the Presidential resolution from 6 September 2019 in voluntary form, and after this period in forced form ( there are exceptions) will switch to the use of online cash registers or virtual cash desk systems.

The resolution approved the Regulation on the procedure for using online cash registers or virtual cash registers when making paid settlements with the public.

According to the Regulation, only online cash registers and virtual cash registers, which are entered into the State Register in accordance with the appropriate procedure, are allowed in Uzbekistan.

Entrepreneurs have the right to independently purchase online cash registers and (or) virtual cash desks, as well as choose service centers.

Online cash registers and virtual cash registers must be registered with the state tax authorities, registration fees are not charged.
