Newly launched and modernized seed cleaning shops were equipped with modern equipments, produced by German company Petkus. In the result, the capacity of seed cleaning shops increased and quality of seed selection improved and it decreased transport expanses. In 2011, some 31.1 billion soums of capital investments were used to implement investment projects.

In 2012, the company plans to realize 8 investment projects, in particular it will modernize two mills and 2 feed mills, as well as launch one new feed shop and three new macaroni shops in line with the presidential resolution. The industry’s programme has five projects. The company will launch one seed cleaning shop and modernize four more shops and install equipment of Petkus.

Uzdonmahsulotlari currently has 44 enterprises on production of bread and their 34 branches, which produce flour, cereals, feeds, as well as bread, macaroni and confectionery goods for internal market of Uzbekistan.

Currently, the company has 55 mills, 45 feed shops, 40 baking mills, 25 macaroni shops, 63 seed cleaning shops and five shops on production of cereals. They produce three sorts of flour, 35-40 bread products, 15 types of macaroni, and two types of cereals. In 2011, the country produced 1,471 million tonnes of flour, 38,700 tonnes of bread products, 22,400 tonnes of macaroni goods, 662 tonnes of pearl barley and 500 tonnes of semolina.

In 2010-2011, Uzbekistan launched four macaroni shops. If in 2010, the enterprises produced eight types of macaroni goods, and in 2011 they produced 15 types of macaroni products.

In 2010-2011, the company produced 2 mills and 3 feed mills, as well as commissioned two new feed mills. This helped to improve flour quality, and decrease expenses for electricity.

The company has been implementing a project on fortification of flour. In 2005-2011, the enterprises of Uzdonmahsulotlari produced 5.358 million tonnes of fortified flour, while in two months of 2011 they produced 210,000 tonnes of fortified flour.
