Enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 551.1 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data, in January-December 2022, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 551.1 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 5.2%m, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

An analysis of the differentiation of industrial output per capita for January-December 2022 showed a significant excess of the national average (15.46 million soums) in Navoi region (80.54 million soums), Tashkent city (36.87 million soums) and Tashkent region (31.35 million soums).

In the structure of production, the largest share falls on manufacturing enterprises (83.2%), the volume of production of which amounted to 458.2 trillion soums.

In January-December 2022, the largest share in the total volume of industrial production in the republic was the city of Tashkent (19.5%), Tashkent (16.9%), Navoi (15.3%), Andijan (9.8%) and Fergana (5.5%) of the region. Compared to the same period in 2021, the average indicators of industrial production in the republic increased due to the enterprises of Andijan (22.6%), Khorezm (15.1%) and Kashkadarya (10.5%) regions.

The volume of products produced by mining and quarrying enterprises in January-December 2022 amounted to 52.5 trillion soums, or 9.5% of the total industry.

In January-December 2022, manufacturing enterprises produced goods worth 458.2 trillion soums, or 83.2% of the total volume of the industry.

In the structure of the manufacturing industry, the share of high-tech industries amounted to 2.1 % (2.7 % in January-December 2021), medium-tech – 23.2 % (20.3 %), medium-low-tech – 36.4 % (39.7 %) and low-tech – 38.3 % (37.2 %).

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production, repair, installation of machinery and equipment, the production of vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, and other finished metal products amounted to 20.3% (the index of physical volume by January-December 2021 was 12.8%), the metallurgical industry - 23.2% (the physical volume index by January-December 2021 amounted to 3.9%), enterprises for the production of textiles, clothing, leather products - 17.9% (the physical volume index by January-December 2021 amounted to 8.6%.

In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production of food, beverages and tobacco products amounted to 17.2% (the index of physical volume by January-December 2021 was 9.2%), enterprises for the production of chemical products, rubber and plastic products - 9.2% (volume index by January-December 2021 amounted to -2.7%).

In January-December 2022, the country produced 1 257.7 thousand tons of motor gasoline (compared to the corresponding period of 2021, an increase of 11.5%), 584.4 thousand tons of cotton yarn (a decrease of 17.6%), 217.3 million liters of beer (an increase of 3.2%) and 1 690.8 thousand tons of flour from soft wheat and spelled (a decrease of 9.5%).

In January-December 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 4 094 trucks (by the corresponding period in 2021, the volume of production decreased by 7.6%).

In January-December 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 1 357 buses (by the corresponding period in 2021, the volume of production increased by 35.3%).

In the automobile industry of the country, in January-December 2022, 101 617 “Cobalt” brand cars were produced (the growth rate increased by 43.0% compared to the same period in 2021), 22 245 “Nexia” cars (a decrease by 29.3%), 87 105 – “Gentra” (70.6% increase), 14 464 – “Spark” (45.9% increase), 20 941 specialized passenger cars (21.0% increase), 72 235 – “Damas” (growth rates increased by 31.2%) and 9 088 – “Tracker”.

In January-December 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 225.4 thousand pieces of car engines (an increase of 40.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2021).

In January-December 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 555 seeders (by January-December 2021, the volume of production increased by 2.7 times).

In January-December 2022, large enterprises in the engineering industry produced 920.1 thousand pieces of lead batteries for starting piston engines (an increase in production by 21.1% was recorded against the corresponding period of 2021).

In January-December 2022, large enterprises of the republic produced 709.1 thousand pieces of refrigerators and freezers (an increase in production by 51.2% was recorded by the corresponding period of 2021).

The overhaul of technological equipment made it possible to increase the capacity utilization of chemical enterprises and exceed the production figures of the previous year for the production of disodium carbonate (11.5% by January-December 2021) and potassium chloride (1.0%).

In January-December 2022, the share of the metallurgical industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 23.2%, the physical volume index increased by 3.9%, while the volume of production amounted to 106.44 trillion soums. In January-December 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 25.6%, and the physical volume index increased by 8.1%.

In January-December 2022, the share of other non-metallic mineral products amounted to 4.9%, the index of physical volume of production decreased by 3.5%, and the volume of production amounted to 22.37 trillion soums. In January-December 2021, the share of production of other non-metallic mineral products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 5.5%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, reached 8.6%.

If in January-December 2022 the share of food products amounted to 13.0%, the index of physical volume - 106.2%, and the total volume of production - 59 421.9 billion soums, then in January-December 2021 the share of food production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 12.9%, and the index of physical volume reached 4.2%.

In January-December 2022, the share of beverage production amounted to 3.6%, the physical volume index - 117.6%, and the volume of production reached 16 336.3 billion soums. In January-December 2021, the share of beverage production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.7%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 18.0%.

In January-December 2022, the share of textile production amounted to 13.7%, the physical volume index increased by 9.8%, and the volume of production became 62.75 trillion soums. According to the results of January-December 2021, the share of textile production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 13.8%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 19.5%.

If in January-December 2022 the share of clothing production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.8%, and the volume index was 5.5%, the volume of production reached 17.21 trillion soums, then in January-December 2021 the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.6%, and the volume index was 18.7%.

In January-December 2022, the share of chemical products amounted to 7.3%, the index of physical volume of production decreased by 2.6%, and the volume of production amounted to 33.35 trillion soums. In January-December 2021, the share of chemical production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 7.4%, while the physical volume index, compared to the same period in 2020, amounted to 7.0%.

In January-December 2022, the share of production of coke and refined petroleum products amounted to 3.3%, the physical volume index increased by 3.9%, and the volume of production amounted to 15 064.1 billion soums. According to the results of January-December 2021, the share of production of coke and products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 3.0%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 71.0%.

In January-December 2022, the share of production of rubber and plastic products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 1.9%, the physical volume index - 98.9%, the volume of production – 8 917.0 billion soums. According to the results of January-December 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.2%, while the physical volume index reached 101.3%.

In January-December 2022, the share of electrical equipment production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 3.1%, the index of physical volume of production - 5.4%, and the volume of production – 14.3 trillion soums. In January-December 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.0%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to -7%.

In January-December 2022, the share of production of metal products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.6%, the physical volume index - 0.7%, and the volume of production – 11.89 trillion soums. According to the results of January-December 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.9%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, amounted to 20.5%.

In January-December 2022, the share of motor vehicle production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 11.1%, the physical volume index - 39.0%, the production volume reached 51.06 trillion soums. According to the results of January-December 2021, the share of this industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 8.5%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2020, was -5.2%.

The volume of products produced by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning enterprises in the period under review amounted to 37.5 trillion soums (6.8% of the total industry).

Compared to the same period in 2021, in January-December 2022, the growth rate of electricity amounted to 99.8%, heat production - 97.5%.

The volume of products produced by water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal enterprises in January-December 2022 amounted to 2.9 trillion soums (0.5% of the total industry).

Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, in January- December 2022, there was an increase in the production of textile waste by 10.4%, services for emptying, cleaning and treatment of cesspools, septic tanks and septic tanks by 5.5%, and there was also a decrease in services for the disposal, transportation of wastewater and their treatment by 1.2%.

As a result of the measures taken to expand the assortment and stimulate the production of finished products, the production of consumer goods in January-December 2022 amounted to 197.9 trillion soums and, compared with the corresponding period of 2021, the growth rate reached 119.4%, the specific weight in the total volume of industry amounted to 35.9%.

In January-December 2022, food products worth 67.6 trillion soums were produced in the republic, the growth rate increased by 17.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Compared to the same period in 2021, the average republican production of consumer goods was exceeded by the enterprises of Andijan (43.1%), Syrdarya (25.8%) and Khorezm (25.5%) regions.

In the structure of production of consumer goods, the share of food products was 34.2%, non-food - 65.8%. In January-December 2021, the share of food products in the total volume of consumer goods amounted to 35.1%, non-food - 64.9%. At the same time, the growth rate of food products by the corresponding period of 2021 amounted to 117.5%, non-food products - 120.4%.

The production of consumer goods per capita in January-December 2022 in the republic amounted to 5 551.3 thousand soums, including in the city of Tashkent –15 964.9 thousand soums, Andijan region – 12 418.7 thousand soums, Tashkent region - 7 723.6 thousand soums, Khorezm region - 5 906.8 thousand soums.

In the structure of consumer goods production of the republic in January-December 2022, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (23.5% of the total volume of consumer goods), Andijan (20.6%), Tashkent (11.6%) and Samarkand (9.3%) regions.

In the structure of production of non-food products of the republic in January-December 2022, the largest share falls on Andijan region (29.3% of the total volume of non-food products), the city of Tashkent (19.7%), Tashkent (9.1%), Samarkand (8.9%) regions.

In the structure of food production of the republic in January-December 2022, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (30.7% of the total volume of food products), Tashkent (16.3%) and Samarkand (10.0%) regions.

Today, 98.8 thousand industrial enterprises operate in the republic, of which 16.8 thousand (17.0% of the total number of operating enterprises) are located in the city of Tashkent, 11.1 thousand (11.2%) - Fergana, 10.0 thousand (10.1%) - Tashkent, 9.9 thousand (10.0%) - Andijan and 8.9 thousand (9.0%) - Samarkand regions.

In January-December 2022, small businesses produced products worth 142.6 trillion soums, the share of which in the total production amounted to 25.9%. For the period from January to December 2021, the share of small businesses in total production amounted to 27.4%.

The development of industrial production of the republic was also facilitated by the implementation of the Program for localization of production of finished products, components and materials, within the framework of which 2 310 projects produced products worth 49.3 trillion soums, exported localized products worth 638.2 million US dollars, created 10 570 new work places.
