It was noted that the enterprises of the communication and information-communication technologies rendered services for 1.1 trillion soums, which is 20.1% more compared to the same period of 2010.
The UzACI said that about 65% of all incomes or 715.1 billion soums were received from rendered services to population. The growth rate was 20.5% compared to the same period of 2010.
Within the projects, realized due to foreign direct investments and loans, the annual forecast was fulfilled with surplus for 4.7 times.
As of 1 July 2011, number of business entities, rendering data transfer and Internet services, reached 917 and number of Internet cafes – 993.
Number of Internet users in Uzbekistan reached 7.7 million, of which 4.27 million are users of mobile internet. Number of domains registered at .UZ domain reached 12,250.
The agency said that 432.45 km optic communication lines of 950 km, planned to commission this year, have been laid. This allowed to increase access to internet networks by four times to 10 Gbps. Currently, total capacity of Internet channel was increased by 12.3% to 2975 Mbps.
