Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The enrollment of children into the first grade will officially begin in Uzbekistan on 20 June, according to the press service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The enrollment process will be carried out in two stages.

The first stage, from 20 June to 31 July, is designated for applications from parents whose children reside within the boundaries of their assigned school district (micro-district).

The second stage, from 1 to 15 August, will be open to families whose children live outside of the designated catchment area of a particular school.

In several districts and cities, documents can be submitted electronically through the government services portal. Starting from 20 June, parents may register and submit applications via the my.maktab.uz platform.

Parents are strongly encouraged to watch the instructional video in advance, which explains how to identify the school assigned to their home address.

In areas where digital government services are not yet available, data on enrolled students will be entered into the Ministry’s unified system using the adm.maktab.uz platform.

Children born before 1 January 2019, are eligible for enrollment, and their parents may submit the required documents accordingly.
