Representatives of twenty small and medium companies will also have an opportunity to improve knowledge on and understanding of disability issues, discuss existing allowances and incentives of PWDs as well as talk about existing factors hindering employment of PWDs.

The event is to be organized by the ACCESS project and the employment support center of the Yunus-Abad district of Tashkent.

ACCESS (Accessibility Civic Consciousness Employment Social Support) is a joint project of UNDP and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.

It is aimed at expanding opportunities for social integration and employment for PWDs through raising public awareness and forming positive public opinion on the issues of disability; improving coordination and building capacity of state and non-state actors in promotion of implementation of disability legislation; promoting accessibility of social infrastructure objects; creating a system of social support.
