Employees of the State Tax Inspectorate of Shaykhantohur district not dismissed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan denied reports about the dismissal of employees of the State Tax Inspectorate of Shayhantohur district.

“Information about the dismissal of personnel of the State Tax Inspectorate (STI) of the Shaykhantokhur district of the capital is unreliable,” the press service of the State Tax Committee said.

According to the committee, at the moment only the head of the STI of Shaykhantokhur district has been relieved of his post, and there were no orders to dismiss other employees of this inspection.

The committee recalled that under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on 4 April, a video selector was held, the input of which decided to update a number of heads of district STIs of the capital.

To perform the tasks set during the video conference, an extraordinary meeting was organized in the State Tax Committee, where orders were issued to dismiss the heads of tax inspectorates in Mirabad, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Uchtepa, Sergeli, Yunusabad, Bektemir and Shayhantokhur districts.

During the meeting, it was decided to revise the staffing of the tax authorities, first of all, in the capital. It is also planned to assess the compliance of qualifications and the responsible attitude of personal structures of tax authorities. For this purpose, a special commission has been created, which will also be responsible for the recruitment of young personnel, capable and responsible.

Currently, this commission is conducting a study of compliance with the established requirements of the staff of Shayhantohur STI.

More detailed information will be presented on the results of this work, the press service of the State Oil Company noted.
