Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Rescuers from Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan have successfully retrieved a Chevrolet Damas that fell into a canal in Ferghana.
On 19 October at 17:07, a report was received indicating that a car, driven by a citizen, had fallen into the Ferghana Canal due to negligence in the "Naymanboston" neighborhood of the Toshlok district in the Ferghana region.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and used specialized equipment and rescue tools to extract the vehicle from the canal.
At the time of the incident, the car contained the driver and two minor children, who managed to escape to the shore when the car began to sink.
There were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the incident.
