Electronic tax reporting saves 16.4 tonnes of paper
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan saved some 16.4 tonnes of paper in five months of 2012 due to submission of tax reports in electronic form.
According to the State Tax Committee, enterprises and organizations submitted over 1.5 million electronic tax and financial reports. This helped to save 3.4 million sheets of paper.
The committee added that currently some 206,500 users use electronic reporting system in five months of 2012 compared to 194,700 in 2011. This makes up 84% of enterprises, which should submit reports.
