Negotiations on climate change are complex process, which is difficult to understand due to its abundance of diverse orientation and large number of documents with specific terms and abbreviations. The electronic course was developed with modern IT and teaching technologies to ensure better understanding of the negotiation process.

The UWED students received the first module of the course. The module is aimed at assisting to students to understand complex issues, related to climate change negotiation process and familiarizing them with key negotiations aspects. The presentation helped some 50 students to familiarize with the module.

The participants received CDs with the course and certificates. The students called the UNDP project to organize similar seminars in future as well.

Head of the UNDP project Liliya Zavyalova said that the project is planning to develop additional modules of the course, which will be dedicated to financial mechanisms of framework convention of the UN on climate change.
