Eight more men were detained on suspicion of committing crimes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the “Strike 40 Days” campaign to improve the crime situation, eight more men were detained on suspicion of committing crimes in Tashkent, the press service of the capital’s police department reports.

List of detainees:

1. Doniyor Bakhtiyorovich Yuldoshev (born in 1984) - part 3 of article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan;

2. Fazliddin Fayzullaevich Alimov (1988) - part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code (extortion);

3. Shovkat Shukhratovich Kuvatov (1991) - part 3 of article 277 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism);

4. Nuriddin Bakhtiyarovich Tulyaganov (1988) - part 4 of article 168 of the Criminal Code (fraud);

5. Ilkhom Makhmudjonovich Sotvoldiev (1986) - part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code (extortion);

6. Doniyor Fakhriddin ugli Yunusov (1992) - part 2 of article 168 (extortion) and part 3 of article 277 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism);

7. Bakhtiyor Tulkin coals Erkinov (1992) - part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code (extortion);

8. Umid Agzamovich Makhmudov (1987) - part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code (extortion).

The suspects are in custody and the investigation is ongoing.

Also, the Investigation Department at the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate put on the wanted list four people who fled from the investigation and were accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 165 (extortion on a particularly large scale). Their names:

1. Mamajonov Doniyor Dilmurodjon ugli (born 1994);

2. Mukhamedov Abdulla Abdurakhmanovich (1985);

3. Soliev Jamshid Abdulazizovich (1992);

4. Isamitdinov Khusan Khashimovich (1964).

A decision was made against these men to place them in custody in their absence.
