Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first day of Eid al-Fitr in Uzbekistan falls on Friday, 21 April. It was said in the statement of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that today, on 20 April, it was possible to observe the Shawwal crescent at 07:12 Saudi Arabia time or at 09:12 Tashkent time.

Based on the data received, the Ulema Council of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan decided to hold Eid al-Fitr in the country on 21 April.

The Council said that in Tashkent the time of the holiday prayer falls at 06:00.
