During his visit, Saameh Sutuhi held negotiations at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.

Saameh Sutuhi said in interview to Jahon that his visit to Uzbekistan is connected with necessity to boost cooperation between two states in all spheres. He said he is interested in learning opinion of the Uzbek side in priority directions of developing bilateral cooperation.

He underlined that there are opportunities for academic exchange among the universities of Uzbekistan and Egypt. He said the sides could organize courses and training for students and teachers in various directions. Egypt is interested in boosting ties with Uzbekistan in trade, economy and tourism, he added.

“Uzbekistan is import for Egypt not only in political and trade-economic point of view. We consider Uzbekistan as important cultural humanitarian partner in the region”, he said.
