Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree "On Measures to Improve the Efficiency of Committees on Children’s Issues."
In accordance with the decree, the updated composition of the National Commission on Children’s Issues was approved.
Additionally, the typical compositions of children’s committees for the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, the city of Tashkent, and districts (cities) have been approved.
The main tasks of the National Commission on Children’s Issues include coordinating measures to protect the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of children, promoting their physical, intellectual, spiritual, and moral development, as well as fully realizing the abilities and talents of children.
The working bodies of the National Commission and the territorial children’s committees are the National Social Protection Agency, its local offices, and district (city) "Inson" social service centers.
