In his address to the Oliy Majlis, the President of Uzbekistan noted that in order to achieve sustainable development, we must deeply master digital knowledge and information technology, which will enable us to take the shortest path to achieving comprehensive progress.
The Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan has initiated the Edu Market project to provide knowledge using modern technologies.
This platform was created by Game Zale developers and is being implemented by the Center for Innovation, Technology and Strategy under the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The platform is designed to provide equal opportunities for the development of children in the world of modern technologies in the form of developmental exercises (with a selection of classes by age), to promote the development of IT skills, attention, memory and logical thinking.
The platform provides great opportunities for creating new methods and techniques in educational activities and thereby improve its quality. Undoubtedly, it increases the interest of a teacher in teaching and research activities. It increases the cognitive activity of students, makes the learning process brighter and more interesting.
Edu Market serves as an effective tool to increase interest in education for children and has components such as: virtual school, virtual library, online learning system, online student performance statistics, student motivation system for successful completion of training, etc.
At this stage, a demo version of the product was tested among primary school students in secondary school No. 94 in Tashkent.
One of the winners, who scored the highest score among the first classes when testing the demo version of the application, 1 “G” grade student Safira Dusmukhamedova noted: “I liked it from the first use, it’s a very interesting, fascinating educational game at the same time. With its help, you can learn new knowledge. I advise everyone to use the Edu Market. ”
Dania Aminova, an elementary school teacher at a Tashkent secondary school No. 94, said: “Looking at the first-graders entrusted to me, I noticed the inspiration and burning eyes of these children. This program smoothly smoothed all corners. Students who had a certain language barrier enthusiastically worked along with the rest of the children and, often, showed good results. And this means that they have an extra reason to be proud of themselves, there is additional motivation for learning, and interest in new knowledge has grown. ”
The Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov emphasized: “Today, most children use smartphones or tablets. With this in mind, we have created a platform that will allow them to use this time more efficiently. With the help of the Edu Market project, we wanted to not only give them new opportunities to gain knowledge, but also to make the process of obtaining knowledge interesting. It is also planned to provide additional opportunities for children to assist them in determining their future profession. In particular, high school students will be able to gain knowledge and skills on earning on the Internet. And this, in turn, will provide them with the opportunity for additional income in the future. ”
During the ceremony, students who entered the top 10 ratings in the process of testing the platform were awarded certificates and prizes from the organizers of the event.
