According to the report “Regional Economic Prospects in EBRD Countries of Operations”, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan will grow by 7.5% in 2013. In January 2013, the bank forecasted that economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 7% this year. The bank said that Uzbekistan’s economy will grow by 7% in 2014.

According to official data, the GDP of Uzbekistan grew by 8.2% in 2012. The Government expects that the growth of GDP will make up 8% in 2013.

The bank’s experts said that the inflation level in Uzbekistan will make up 11% in 2013 against 12.1% in 2013.
