Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), headed by Treasury Director Axel van Nederveen, visited the Central Bank, where they met with the leadership of the regulator.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed the activities of the working group, within which representatives of the Central Bank and the EBRD cooperate in the development of the money market. The management of the Central Bank noted that the technical assistance provided by the EBRD on liquidity forecasting and management improved the work of the regulator in this area. 

The parties exchanged views on improving the efficiency of ongoing monetary operations, and also identified further prospects for bilateral cooperation.
