Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 February 2020, a meeting with a delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, issues of expanding mutual cooperation in the field of banking sector development, monitoring and implementation of existing projects with banks, as well as EBRD assistance in the process of sector reform and privatization of state banks were discussed.

The parties also discussed joint projects, in particular, the conduct of training seminars to improve the qualifications of bank specialists at the Corporate Center under the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
