Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A drunken passenger on the flight “Moscow-Samarkand” operated by Ural Airlines reported the presence of a bomb on board of the aircraft.

The flight, departing from Domodedovo Airport, arrived at Samarkand Airport overnight from 14 to 15 July.

The intoxicated passenger, M.A., informed the flight attendants about the presence of explosive substances on the plane.

The duty unit of the Samarkand Region Department of Internal Affairs received the incident report at 03:15. A group of sappers immediately responded to the scene.

Specialists inspected the aircraft and did not find any explosive, incendiary, or other suspicious substances.

An administrative case was initiated against the man for petty hooliganism. The case documents have been forwarded to the criminal court of Samarkand.
