Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Drivers in Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to appeal traffic violations online.

According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, this service will operate through the Unified Portal of State Services.

The document notes that traditional methods of filing complaints, either verbally or in writing, lead to bureaucratic difficulties, so the introduction of modern approaches is necessary.

From 1 October 2024, drivers will be able to contact the Road Safety Service (RSS) through the Unified Portal of State Services regarding traffic violations. Individuals and legal entities will also still have access to the opportunity to apply through traditional channels.

Until 1 September, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, must ensure the integration of information systems for the implementation of this service.
