Heads of ministries and departments, scientists and specialists of the sector participated at the roundtable. Participants reviewed the draft bill, which was prepared for second reading.
Participants gave recommendations and proposals on licensing and state regulation of the realtor activity, determining types of realtor activity, rights and obligations of realtor organizations and their customers, setting requirements to realtors, etc.
As earlier reported, the law will help to create necessary and effective legal base, which would regulate real estate activity and implementation of which would serve as barrier before unskilled people.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, currently, number of registered realtor organizations makes up 2,516, which render mediatory services in real estate market. But according to estimates of the specialists, there are many people, who carry out this activity without state registration.
