Draft law on employment of citizens of Uzbekistan in Russia submitted to State Duma
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Russian government submitted a draft law on ratification of the agreement between Moscow and Tashkent, aimed at ensuring targeted employment of Uzbek citizens in Russia to the State Duma.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a relevant resolution, which is published on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Uzbekistan and Russia signed this document on 5 April 2017 in Moscow during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow.
The agreement is aimed at ensuring the targeted employment of citizens of Uzbekistan in Russia and envisages their pre-immigration training for subsequent employment.
The document will promote development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the field of labor migration, prevention of illegal involvement of foreign workers in labor activity.
