Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the decision of a special commission of the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare a program of action plans to prevent the entry and spread of coronavirus in our country from 17 March 2020, it is recommended that travel companies, public organizations and large industrial enterprises suspend development activities domestic tourism until the situation with the spread of coronavirus in the country is stabilized.

At the same time, all types of public events planned to be held on the territory of the republic, international events and sports competitions, theater, cinema and concert programs will be temporarily suspended.

According to the decision of the special commission, in the event of the return of airline tickets and train tickets purchased for tourism purposes, including for domestic destinations falling under the quarantine period, measures will be taken to fully return the funds to the buyer without penalty or delay.

In accordance with the decision of the special commission, in case of buyers returning air and railway tickets, including domestic flights, purchased for tourism and falling under the quarantine period, the Ministry of Transport will take measures to return tickets and fully refund the buyer or transfer to another date without penalty.

Together with the Ministry of Transport, the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and the responsible ministries, and departments, a special headquarters is currently organized to provide information support to foreign citizens, including tourists, on issues associated with their return to their country.
