Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15-16 November this year, the capital hosts the International PLUS-Forum "Retail Central Asia", dedicated to the current state and prospects for the development of e-commerce and the retail industry in Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries. The forum will be held with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the IT Park technology park.

Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the digital economy and e-government, delivered a welcoming speech.

The event discussed the prospects for cooperation with IT companies, payment instruments in retail, current trends and solutions, the benefits of digital transformation of retail, as well as issues of network and local retail.
