Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 7 August 2024, representatives from the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade held a meeting with importers of international brands.

The event was attended by representatives of over 50 international brands, including Adidas, Boss, Colin's, Nike, Next, New Yorker, Hugo, Pandora, Peserico, Pinko, Tommy Hilfiger, Twinset, Lacoste, Levis, Skechers, US Polo, Reebok, Ostin, and Crocs.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the conditions for applying reduced import duty rates, as stipulated by the Presidential resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 393 from 12 October 2022.

Participants were also thoroughly informed about the process for submitting electronic applications to be included in the registry of international brand importers and the requirements for accompanying documents.

Additionally, comprehensive answers were given to participants' questions during the discussion. Business representatives expressed interest in utilizing the opportunities provided by the Decree.
