Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A draft Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy developed by the Presidential Administration has been published for discussion.
The strategy is aimed at creating a New Uzbekistan, includes 5 directions and 100 goals. A total of $252.2 billion will be allocated to implement the Strategy.
The main directions of the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030":
- creation of education, healthcare and social protection systems that meet the requirements of the population and international standards;
- ensuring the well-being of the population through sustainable economic growth;
- creation of environmental conditions that are comfortable for the population, including saving water resources;
- creation of a just and modern state serving the people, ensuring the rule of law;
- continuation of work on transforming the country into a safe and peaceful state, pursuing an open, pragmatic and active foreign policy, reforms to strengthen the country's security and defense capability.
The implementation of the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030" and the achievement of its targets should become a priority in the activities of all state bodies and organizations, and their first leaders will be personally responsible for this.
The Republican Commission for the implementation of the Strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030" will be created. To implement the strategy, a separate action plan will be approved annually.
The project can be changed, supplemented or rejected.
