Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan Francois Gauthier banded over the order “For services in the field of art and literature” to Marinika Babanazarova at the celebration of National Holiday of France.

Embassy of France said that this prominent person embodies many of the values, which is highly rated in France and Uzbekistan such as respect for cultural identity and care on protection and promotion of national heritage.

Francois Gauthier said that Babanazarova is heading the museum for a long time and it is well known museum in France. She said that due to efforts of Babanazarova man French people visit it.

He said that the order “For services in the field of art and literature” is handed over by the Ministry of Culture of France to persons, who contributed to development of culture and art in France or worldwide.
