Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Adham Eshchanov has been appointed as director of the Department of budgetary policy in the fields of education, science and culture of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Adham Eshchanov was born in 1988 in the city of Urgench, Khorezm region, Uzbek by nationality. In 2011, he received a bachelor’s degree from the Tashkent State Economic University, in 2013 a master’s degree from the same university.

He began his career in 2013 as an economist of the 1st category of the Department for Financing Higher Education and Science of the Main Directorate for Financing the Social Sphere and Science of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 2016-2017, he worked as the Leading Economist of the Education Financing Department of the Main Directorate for Financing Higher Education and Science of the Main Directorate for Financing the Social Sphere and Science of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2017-2018, he was Chief Economist of the Department of Financing of General Education Institutions of the Main Directorate for Financing the Social Sphere and Science of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 2018-2020, he was Head of the Department of Financing of General Education Institutions of the Main Directorate for Financing the Social Sphere and Science of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2020, he worked as Deputy Director of the Human Capital Development Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to his appointment, he held the position of Director of the Department for Development of Innovations and Digital Economy and Services of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
