Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Captain of Uzbekistan’s national futsal team Dilshod Rakhmatov has announced his retirement from professional sports at the age of 35.

Rakhmatov represented the national team from 2010 to 2024, participating in two FIFA Futsal World Cups and six AFC Futsal Asian Cups.

During his career, he won a silver medal at the 2016 AFC Futsal Asian Cup and secured four bronze medals in 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2024.

Rakhmatov was twice named Uzbekistan’s Best Futsal Player, cementing his legacy as one of the country’s most outstanding futsal athletes.
