Dilshod Nuraliev says he believes to players
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-17 will take part in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE, which starts in a week. Some 24 strongest teams of the world will participate in the tournament.

Uzbekistan is in Group C along with Croatia, Morocco and Panama. Uzbekistan delegation will fly to the UAE on 14 October 2013.

Uzbekistan U-17 coach Dilshod Nuraliev said that team held 10 camps, including five abroad, within the preparation to the tournament. The team played friendly matches against Austria, Tunis, Mexico, Argentina and others. He added that the preparation was good and the team is ready for the World Cup.

Uzbek coach underlined that during preparation he faced injury scare, but he added that situation changed to better now. He said that top player received serious injuries and coach staff conducted serious selection work to strengthen the team. Some 75 new players underwent trails. He added that injured players recovered and it is expected that they will be fully fit to the tournament. However, Ulugbek Davlatov and Ilhom Abduganiev will miss the tournament due to injury, he added.

Nuraliev said that main goal of the youth teams should be to train players to the national team. He underlined that the results in the tournaments should not be important for youth teams.

But he added that there should be tasks for the tournament. Each coach puts task and tries to achieve it. But it should not be priority.

Dilshod Nuraliev said that each team in Group C of the FIFA U-17 World Cup has equal chance to advance to next round and many things will depend from psychology.

He said that Uzbekistan has all information about opponents and watched videos with their matches. He said that there is no favourites in the group and psychologically strong teams will win.

Uzbek coach stated that he believes in all players. They are best in their age and that’s why they will participate in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, he added. He said that the team will do all its best to show good performance.
