Malaysian Parliament public relations officer Tengku Nasaruddin Tengku Mohamed said five parliamentary members were also in the entourage.

They are Datuk Juslie Ajirol (Libaran), Datuk Billy Abit Joo (Hulu Rajang), Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed (Pulai), Datuk Johari Abdul (Sungai Petani) and Dr Mujahid Yusof (Parit Buntar).

"They are scheduled to arrive in the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 19 (today) until May 21 and then will be in the Kyrgyz Republic until 25 May," he said in a statement.

Nasaruddin said Pandikar Amin was scheduled to make a courtesy call on the Parliament Speakers in both the countries, as well as the president of the Republic of Kyrgyz, Kurmanbek Bakiyev; its Prime Minister Igor Chudinov and Foreign Minister K. Sarbaev.
