The conference was attended by over 400 people from foreign countries and Uzbekistan, the organizers of the event said.

The conference discussed results of activities of the enterprises, their plants and development of energy sector, development of partnership relations, etc.

It was noted that Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshit plays key role in deepening reforms and producing competitive products in Uzbekistan.

The enterprise produces various electrotechnical goods and equipment, which supplied to oil and gas, chemical, energy, mining and metallurgy industries, and others.

Sherzod Shukurov, representative of Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshit, said that in past period of 2012, the company produced goods for 142 billion soums or about US$72.5 million. The growth rate made up 37.5% year-on-year, he added.

He said that the figure was achieved due to introduction of new technologies and equipment, modernization of production line. Shukurov added that the company exported goods for US$9 million in nine months of 2012.

It was said the company also prepares products on individual demands of the orders. The company produces sub-stations based on own goods.
