Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov held a meeting with representatives of the delegation of the Turkish region of Kutahya.

The delegation included the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kütahya Region of Turkey Esin Güral Argat, the head of Ünsa Madencilik Emin Yuce, the head of Çetiner Harita Planning Salih Çetiner and a group of businessmen.

Esin Güral Argat is the daughter of Riza Güral, a member of the Güral family, the largest manufacturer of ceramic and porcelain products in Turkey. The Güral family owns such large companies as NG/Kütahya Porselen, NG/Kütahya Seramik, Gürok Holding, LAV and Güral Porselen.

Gürok Holding also includes Alibey Resort Side (Antalya), JOALI Maldives and JOALIbeing (Maldives). LAV is the sixth largest glass manufacturer in the world.

Esin Gural Argat noted that this was her first visit to Uzbekistan. She highly appreciated the changes taking place in the country and expressed hope for the rapid development of cooperation with entrepreneurs in the Kutahya region.

During the negotiations, issues of cooperation in the areas of glass production, glass products and drinking water, mechanical engineering, technology parks, tourism and the mining industry were discussed. The parties exchanged views on the conditions created for investors in Uzbekistan.

The government of Uzbekistan promised to create all the necessary conditions for foreign investors.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Turkish delegation received detailed answers to all their questions. An agreement was reached on further development of cooperation and intensification of consultations on projects.
