Kurbanmurat Taparov was born in 1978 in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region, Uzbek by nationality. In 1999 he graduated from Karshi State University, in 2004 from the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in 2012 from Ritsumeikan University, Japan.

K. Taparov began his activity in 1999 as an economist of the 1st category of the financial management of the Kashkadarya region.

In 2003, he began the activity of the leading regional inspector of Kashkadarya region of the Fund for settlements for agricultural products purchased for state needs under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, then he was the chief economist, deputy head of the department and head of the department for monitoring the structure and execution of the budget of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and local budgets. management.

In 2017-2018, he was deputy head of the Main Department of Finance of the Regions of the Ministry of Finance, and then head of the department.

Since 2018, he worked as a leading sector inspector for work with public authorities at the local level of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to his appointment, he held the position of the leading sector inspector for interaction with representative authorities and political parties of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
