Currently, wide-scale reforms are being implemented in the country on the way to democratic legal state. The representatives of the local authorities play a special role in increasing the efficiency of the reforms, UzA reported.
The traditional regional seminars are aimed at strengthening economic, sociopolitical and other knowledge of the heads of the regions.
On the first day of the seminar, the participants considered the priority tasks outlined in the report of the President on the 16th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan.
It was said that the governors should live with the people’s and the country’s problems, deeply realizing the essence of the reforms, and adopt decisions based on principles of justice and responsibility.
This, in turn, requires that they have deep knowledge and a corresponding potential.
Heads of a number of ministries and state departments, as well as professors will read reports at the seminar.
