Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Galuzin, to discuss pressing issues on the bilateral agenda.
The talks took place in the spirit of Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership and alliance, according to a report from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On 10 September, Galuzin visited the branch of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent, where he met with the branch director, Abdujabbar Abduvakhitov, along with faculty members and students.
The importance of educational cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan was emphasized, especially considering the 80th anniversary of MGIMO this year. During his visit, Galuzin addressed the audience, responding to various questions regarding international issues and the relations between Russia and Uzbekistan.
