Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 January 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Tilo Klinner.

During the conversation, the sides summed up the results of Uzbekistan-Germany cooperation over the past year and outlined priority tasks for the implementation of previously reached agreements and the further expansion of mutually beneficial partnership.

The parties expressed mutual interest in deepening trade, economic and investment ties, including through the diversification of mutual trade based on the “GSP+” status, the implementation of large joint projects in Uzbekistan with the involvement of leading German companies and technologies.

The agenda of the meeting also included expanding cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, educational, and migration spheres.
