Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  At the first organizational session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the new convocation, deputies of the Speaker were elected.

Chairman of the Council of Representatives of Political Parties, Akhtam Khaitov, presented the council’s decisions.

According to the proposal, Mavluda Khujaeva, a deputy from the UzLiDeP party, was nominated for the position of Deputy Speaker and was elected through voting.

Also nominated and elected for the position of Deputy Speaker was Rahimjon Hakimov, a deputy from the UzLiDeP party.
