Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In 2020, the Department of State Financial Control and its territorial divisions carried out 4,729 control measures to ensure compliance with budget discipline and targeted use of budget funds. As a result, there were cases of violations of budget discipline, shortage of funds and inventory, as well as unjustified expenses in the amount of 246 billion soums, of which 168.8 billion soums were restored to the budget.

In 573 of 709 control measures carried out in the system of the Ministry of Public Education, violations amounting to 96.6 billion soums were revealed, which is 3.2 times more than in 2019 (29.8 billion soums).

In 523 of 723 control measures carried out in the system of the Ministry of Health, violations in the amount of 40 billion soums were detected, which is 2.9 times more than in 2019 (13.8 billion soums).

In 270 out of 327 control measures carried out in the system of the Ministry of Preschool Education, violations in the amount of 16.7 billion soums were revealed, which is 2 times more than in 2019 (8.3 billion soums).

In 106 out of 124 control measures carried out in the system of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, violations in the amount of 9.4 billion soums were revealed, which is 8.5 times more than in 2019 (1.1 billion soums).

More financial violations were also revealed in the system of the ministries of culture (6.8 billion soums), water management (5.6 billion soums), higher and specialized secondary education (5 billion soums), physical culture and sports (4 , 1 billion soums), agriculture (3.1 billion soums).

As part of control measures carried out at the Uzbekkino National Agency, financial violations in the amount of 17.9 billion soums were revealed.

In addition, cases of violation of budget discipline were revealed in control activities carried out in khokimiyats (3.5 billion soums), administrations of khokimiyats for improvement (7.8 billion soums), engineering companies "Service of a single customer" under khokimiyats (8.4 billion soums).

At control measures for the targeted use of local budget funds, cases of financial violations in the amount of 175.3 billion soums were revealed, including Kashkadarya (26.1 billion soums), Andijan (19.8 billion soums), Surkhandarya (16, 5 billion soums), Fergana. (14.4 billion soums), Tashkent (13.2 billion soums), Jizzakh (13 billion soums), Samarkand (13 billion soums), Syrdaryan (12.9 billion soums), Namangan (12 billion soums) ). soums), Khorezm (6 billion soums), Bukhara (3.6 billion soums), Navoi (2.4 billion soums) regions, the city of Tashkent (13.8 billion soums) and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (8.1 billion soums) ).

It should be noted that as part of the control measures carried out in budgetary institutions in 2020, cases of theft of cash in the amount of 54.5 billion soums were revealed (non-posting of cash received from the bank to the treasury of the organization, payroll to non-listed employees and others), which is 7.5 times more than last year (in 2019 - 7.2 billion soums).

For violation of budgetary legislation 48 managers and other officials of organizations receiving funds from the budget were fined.

Also, materials on violations in the amount of 239.5 billion soums, revealed in the framework of 3,033 control measures, were sent to law enforcement agencies.
