Head of diplomatic mission of Denmark to Russia, Belarus and Central Asian states Tom Risdahl Jensen handed over credentials to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Elyor Ghaniev on 3 February 2011.

During the visit to Uzbekistan, Tom Risdahl Jensen visited UzCarlsberg LLC, largest investment project of this Scandinavian country in Uzbekistan.

Currently, Саrlsberg Uzbekistan is the fastest developing beer producer of Uzbekistan with 100% foreign capital. Total investments to this project exceed 77.2 million euros. The plant has been launched in autumn 2007 and it is equipped with modern equipment.

According to Jensen, this allows to produce competitive products of high quality. He said that all necessary conditions for personnel have been created at the plant.

Tom Risdahl Jensen noted that one of his priority tasks is effective assistance in developing trade-economic relations between Uzbekistan and Denmark.
