Denis Istomin outplays Nicolas Almagro in Hamburg

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s top tennis player Denis Istomin sensationally defeated fifth seeded player of ATP Hamburg Nicolas Almagro in straight sets - 7/6 (7/5) and 7/6 (9/7).

Both sets lasted till tie-break. In the first tie-break, Denis Istomin claimed the set with 7/5 victory.

In the second, Istomin took a lead with the score 6/1, but lost next seven serves. At the score 6/7, Istomin won three serves to book his place in third round.

In next round, Denis Istomin will face Germany’s Julian Reister.
